We are currently looking for experienced candidates for the role of Senior Platform Engineer. Who can manage a number of platforms, services, and applications on behalf of our client? These include the Sitecore Public Websites platform, hosting 180+ websites.

 

Platform, a social media collaborative-style digital workplace. We make considerable use of automation to deliver change rapidly whilst minimizing risk. This role will provide technical and operational support across a number of platforms and services and will contribute to the future expansion of those services. We are looking for a disciplined self-starter who can successfully bring projects and tasks (including complex technical issues) to closure with a minimum of direction, guidance, and oversight.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Day-to-day technical management of Digital Workplace Platform, working with IT teams and vendor resources to support and investigate/resolve incidents for DevOps pods.
• Operational responsibility for the DWP Azure environment, including monitoring, patching, maintenance, and support.
• Support the execution of change activity for a range of platform and application components.
• Develop SME-level expertise in one or more platforms/applications.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

• At least 5 years of experience in overall IT infrastructure, network, storage, servers, etc.
• Experience in architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Azure Services (ASE, Azure SQL, Azure Storage Account, Azure AD).
• Azure Networking (Nets, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, Peering, Gateway, etc)
• Understanding DNS, SSL/TLS, and general network stack.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 services, Identity & Collaboration.
• Exposure/experience with Powershell.
• Exposure/experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps Pipeline
