About the Role: The candidate will provide design, analysis, and development to satisfy the business’s functional and non-functional requirements. The role entails working on design, and development delivering new application functionality, enhancements, and bug-fixing, supporting production issues, and queries as well as enhancements to the CI/CD pipeline to meet DevOps ambitions.

 

About Team: You will be part of a new pod working for Banking projects with the team working from Poland, India, and the UK.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Follow best practices, work with Tech Leads and other team members, Participate and contribute to the design and architecture of the application, suggest changes/improvements, etc. that help the team and business both.
• Problem-solving – investigation of production issues, as well as longer-term strategic development issues.
• Working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Create unit tests for the code base.
• Integrity, Conduct, and performance against ethical standards.
• Following the full process flow of data and actively working to enhance it.

 

Technical Skills:

 

• 5 to 11 years of experience
• Strong Experience with C# for web-based and window-based WPF application development (VB .NET Knowledge adds advantage)
• Strong Experience with Web API/Micro-services.
• Strong Experience with database-related technologies, e.g. MS SQL and Oracle.
• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, Nexus)
• Good verbal and written communication skills; Good planning and task management skills.
• Good understanding of DevOps and Agile development (Scrum, Kanban)

 

Nice To Have Skills:

 

• Swift
• Load/Performance testing experience
• Practical parallel computing experience
• Performance optimization
