Role - Senior Citrix Engineer

 

Our client is one of the largest Financial Institutions and Financial Services organizations in the world, with operations in 64 countries and territories.

 

Using technology to transform the world’s leading financial institution, this is a job for the boldest problem solvers in the tech industry.

 

Team - you will join the project where you will build a global platform used for customer onboarding on a global scale.

 

About Project - Project was launched in 2020 and it is the first step in the transformation programs. It will establish the foundations of a European Regional core technology platform capable of supporting multi-entity and multi-country wholesale businesses to replace local IT systems. The new platform will support the local business and will establish the core elements of a European regional platform to support other continental European country businesses in the future.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Technical operations & service management of the virtual windows desktop (Windows 10/ Citrix XenDesktop.
  • Technical coordination of external service providers.
  • Project support and solution design for implementing business requirements.
  • Automation of processes and workflows (e.g. desktop provisioning, automated reports) to improve operational excellence and support project or Ad-Hoc requests.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

  • Technical knowledge & experience with Citrix XenDesktop 1912 or later.
  • General knowledge & experience with Microsoft Windows Client & Server technologies.
  • Troubleshooting experience to identify, understand and resolve technical issues.
  • Complete skillset to analyze and technically implement the automation of processes, workflows, and reports.
  • Basic knowledge & experience with ITIL, IT service management frameworks and tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Good organizational, oral and written communication skills

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
  • Experience with VMWare ESX environments.
  • Agile and Project Management skills.
  • Experience with collaboration platforms (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, Cisco Jabber).
  • Experience in working for a bank or financial service provider and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
