Team - you will join the project where you will build a global platform used for customer onboarding on a global scale.

 

About Project - Project was launched in 2020 and it is the first step in the transformation programmes. It will establish the foundations of a European Regional core technology platform capable of supporting multi-entity and multi-country wholesale businesses to replace local IT systems.  The new platform will support the local business and will establish the core elements of a European regional platform to support other continental European country businesses in the future.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Performing testing activities
  • Ensure test status results are properly documented and tracked and defects are logged
  • Participation in the review and analysis of appropriate documentation
  • Closely cooperating with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, Business Analyst teams to understand requirements and discuss execution
  • Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed appropriately, escalating them as required
  • Managing and tracking work using management tools like JIRA
  • Identify bugs and quality issues in service or business processes.
  • Knowledge of writing test scripts /test cases based on user stories
  • Ensure compliance to Release Management Procedure and methodology
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Run detailed analytics, create, and maintain release dashboards/reports, and track release metrics
  • Support regular Release Management meetings with agendas, weekly status reporting with issue and risk identifications and mitigation.
  • Should work closely with environment /operation team for environment build-out, prep installs, configuration, code dependencies, back out plans, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in manual testing with basic technical knowledge on SQL, XML, JMeter, Rest service, UNIX, Excel, JIRA, Confluence,
  • Understanding of systems testing and quality assurance methods and processes
  • Thorough technical and operational knowledge within the QA area of responsibility
  • Understanding of SDLC best practices and methodologies
  • Detailed understanding of common defect and data-management tools (such as Jira)
  • English fluent oral and written
  • Professional experience in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to details
  • Knowledge of test management tools like Quality Center or Jira
  • Willingness to pursue a career in an IT environment.

 

Nice to have:

 

  • Experience in Bank or any other Financial Institution
  • Load and Performance Testing experience – Load Runner, Performance Centre, and JMeter or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience in designing automation testing approaches especially for large scale and complex banking applications/architectures
  • Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
  • Experience in test automation
  • Knowledge of Unix and Oracle environments
  • Good SQL knowledge
