About Project & Team:
The project is focused on building a solution for automated trading with extensive GUI for financial institutions. Independently choosing tooling & frameworks. The team is working on building a trading platform that constantly provides new business functionalities and improves/automates our work environment. Production is our key responsibility, therefore we put a lot of stress on testing and security. We follow TDD principles and attend Agile rituals (daily standups, weekly planning).
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain software for the platform.
· Cover your software with tests on all levels of the delivery pipeline, preferably in TDD.
· Take end-to-end responsibility for your software.
· Attend daily Agile routines with the OTC team.
· Collaborate with DCS & FIRE developers to enhance the platform.
Technologies being used in the project: Scala, ScalaTest, Akka, ZIO, Slick, Java, SQL, GCP, Git, MongoDB, Kafka
Must-Have Skillset:
- Languages: Scala,
- Familiar with Linux
- CI/CD basics
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Development as a Software Engineer and at least 3 years as a Scala Developer
Nice to Have Skillset:
- Slick
- General experience in Cloud-based platforms
- MongoDB, Kafka, Grafana, InfluxDB
- Jira / Github
Soft skills:
- Open-minded and eager to learn
- Able to work in an Agile, DevSecOps-oriented environment
- Able to work as a part of a team and communicate well with the Product Owner
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English skills (to be used on daily basis)
