Project & Programme Management roles encompass spearheading change initiatives, and orchestrating the creation and execution of effective Technology and Business Change Programmes, all while ensuring the attainment of benefits. Operating at an executive tier, you'll actively involve and sway stakeholders throughout the organization.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing program strategy and approach, gaining stakeholder buy-in,
  • Proactively driving/supporting program and project delivery,
  • Assisting in decomposing complex business requirements into manageable tasks,
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
  • Collaborating with Technology teams to improve productivity and Agile methodologies,
  • Working with other senior managers to deliver complex initiatives,
  • A leading definition of staffing, resourcing, and schedules,
  • Ensuring alignment with HSBC strategies and technology practices,
  • Managing development and promotion of technology portfolio and project management practices,
  • Being accountable for all program and project elements, including financial management,
  • Prioritizing competing demands and making data-driven decisions,
  • Demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


Essential skills:

  • More than ten years of technology experience, specializing in project management and complex project delivery,
  • Knowledge of digital credit and lending products, market, and related services,
  • Ability to present and discuss change impacts effectively,
  • Proven track record of successful delivery within timelines, cost, and specifications,
  • Experience in offshore/onshore IT development environments,
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and networking skills,
  • Excellent business judgment and ability to consult on and satisfy business needs,
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects, planning, time/resource management, and problem resolution,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including complex ideas for senior management,
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with challenging situations, and work effectively in teams.


Academic and professional qualifications:

  • High-quality degree-level education with a first-class academic track record
  • Professional Project Management qualification (PMP/PRINCE2/Six Sigma, etc.) with a proven track record of delivering technology projects


📣 Please note! This position offers a hybrid work model. The selected candidate will be expected to be present at our Krakow office one day per month.
