Responsibilities:

 

• Lead and tackle complex technical challenges while advising engineering teams.
• Participate in technology leadership and oversee engineering as a senior lead.
• Set engineering standards and ensure quality across teams.
• Identify and manage technology risks and opportunities.
• Design scalable solutions for large engineering teams.
• Collaborate on talent acquisition and retention with recruiting and leadership.
• Conduct diverse code reviews and provide timely feedback.
• Demonstrate effective engineering patterns.
• Define engineering strategy with leadership.
• Strategically reduce technical debt and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, architecture, coding, and DevOps.

 

 

Required Skills:

 

• Hands-on experience in using Kotlin to develop Android App
• Knowledgable in upcoming engineering trends for the Android ecosystem
• Experience as a technical expert on the Android platform and competency with industry-standard libraries
• Have experience in Dagger2, Rxjava2, Retrofit2, familiar with third party lib integration
• Master level with UI and Core Architectural Design patterns
• Solid experience in writing Unit Tests and UI tests, must be familiar with Junit, Mockito, and Espresso
• Experience with source code versioning tools, specifically GitHub
• Familiar with security concepts and integration is a must, like HTTPS, cert pinning, encryption and decryption, and data protection
