Role – DevOps with Machine Learning

Project: The project will be to work in a global agile development team helping deliver and optimize technology towards the target state. The successful candidate will help to optimize platform infrastructure, monitoring, and cybersecurity alongside with technical view and optimization for business developed machine learning models, improve existing ones, and manage the production model’s infrastructure to support and improve Surveillance’s way of working in order to achieve strategic objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Work with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand stakeholder requirements
• Responsible for optimizing and improving infrastructure
• Build and maintain the production infrastructure for machine learning models
• Work with Data Scientists to productionise proactively developed analytics
• Ensure that development is undertaken in line with continuous integration and test-driven development philosophies and that code quality standards and processes are adhered to.
• Work with Architects to both validate designs and ensure adherence to the agreed approach
• Carry out unit testing to ensure the quality of delivered components

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

• Education background in the Computer Science field
• Career background in technology with 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development
• Excellent knowledge in DevOps practices, CI/CD
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools – Jenkins & Ansible
• Good understanding of Data Science, ETL process and Python
• Experience with UNIX-based systems and shell scripting
• Understanding of data handling (databases, object storages, SQL/noSQL)
• Familiarity with version-control management – Git
• Ability to understand complex products, problems and solutions
• Ability to work independently including evaluating different solutions to a problem
• Communication on high level of proficiency and technical expertise with very good collaboration and interpersonal skills

 

Nice to have:

 

• Experience in Machine learning and/or AI experience would be an advantage
• Python skills with practical knowledge of relevant libraries TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn would be an advantage
• Containerization and cloud knowledge
• Familiarity with ELK monitoring stack
