DevOps Engineer

Role – DevOps Engineer

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with familiarity working with containers, programming/scripting languages? Are you motivated and independent engineer with head full of ideas and solutions?

Then we’re looking for someone like you!

 

Main responsibilites:

• support containerization and cloud journey
• enhance, develop and support the on prem and cloud Kubernetes platform, support application teams in onboarding to it
• embrace new technologies, foster new ideas, pilot and evolve them into guiding principles of delivery
• partner with Tech platform and application teams as well as Business stakeholders across the organization
• execute on strategic direction for the services orchestration and cloud platforms and lead towards it

About you:

• experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably also with AKS and Helm
• proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, C#, Python or PowerShell, Bash)
• experience in administrating Unix systems
• understanding platform and application lifecycle and monitoring
• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills

Extra points for:

• experience in any cloud provider
• experience in IaaC tools (Terraform)
• exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab pipelines)
• demonstrable experience of infrastructure knowledge: Operating Systems, VMs, Proxy, Networking (TCP/IP), Storage
• knowledge of Kafka or similar tools
