About Role:
The 'Cloud Security Engineer - Pre-Production Reviews' role, under the CSAT Cloud Security Team, reports to the Head, overseeing mandatory security assessments pre-production
Responsibilities:
• Conducting Pre-Production Cloud Security reviews via Service Now.
• Providing Cloud Security consultancy for smooth service transition.
• Driving continuous process improvement and automation.
• Applying Cloud security controls effectively.
• Meeting performance targets set by Head of Cloud Security Pre-Production Reviews.
• Maintaining and updating content on the Cyber Cloud Build Security Hub.
• Contributing to the organizational Cybersecurity strategy.
• Ensuring effective engagement with global stakeholders.
• Staying informed about industry trends and promoting organizational adoption of best practices and changes.
Must-Have Skillset:
• Proficiency in one or more Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud).
• Familiarity with software development tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
• Knowledge of risk and control frameworks.
• Customer-centric approach with strong relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and ethical work ethic.
• Technical problem-solving expertise.
• Agile methodology familiarity.
• Influential, credible, persuasive, and a good listener, aligned with organizational values and sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders through impactful reports and documentation.
Would be beneficial:
• Cybersecurity assessment/review experience.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud application deployment using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, and Nexus.
• Aspiring or possessing industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Cloud Security Certifications.
