Senior Java Engineer wanted!
We are a newly created team in Poland.
What we do:
We are building a new Krakow-based pod comprising full-stack (Scala/Java) developers who will be a part of the global electronic development team formed of 4 pods globally (London, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Krakow) supporting a trading platform being used by over 100 sales and traders in US, London, Hong Kong. These roles will provide a great opportunity for you to learn!
Your daily task:
* Speaking to the product owner (traders) to understand new feature requirements,
* Development of new features,
* Automating regression testing of new software,
* Frequent deployment of multiple software packages to production,
* Production availability - we collectively build and own the service.
Your skills and experience:
* 5 years experience in Java or Scala,
* Familiar with TDD, continuous integration, and delivery environment using Git/Stash/Teamcity or equivalent tooling,
* Experience in working with core Java, latency, resiliency, writing multi-threaded complex solutions.
Nice to have:
* Scala experience, have to be open to learning scala, most of existing code is written in scala, going further it will be focused on java develop,
* UI development experience using the React framework,
* Experience with REST, messaging technologies, and JVM performance tuning,
* Experience building cloud-based solutions using public cloud providers.
