We are the Team Java Business Services enables key business critical functions like Payments, Transactions and Customer Onboarding and Master Data to be performed by End-Users in daily business.

Beside frontend Systems, Java Business Services operates approx. 60 backend Systems, which assure compliance with regulatory requirements like MiFID II, Basel II.


The Java Business Services 2nd Level Supporter is responsible for the end-to-end handling of ca. 1.000 tickets per year.

In this role you will learn:

Monitoring the Ticket System "theGuard" and the Support-Mailbox for incoming tickets

* Communication with the internal customers via Phone, Email and Chat (communication in English)
* Issue Analysis in Source Code, Databases, Middleware and Operating System level
* Preparation and execution of solutions (Database Updates, Bugfixing)
* Coordination and facilitation of cross team execution of solutions (in case Java Business Services provides the frontend for a backend system)
* Communicate incidents to specialist fields (business) and third party providers
* Alignment with Application Owners and involvement of SME for 3rd Level Support
* Initiate and perform change requests for repeating incidents to improve the robustness of the platform
* Manage and Maintain the Generic KeyTab Service (a configurable Application used in approx. 780 Use-Cases)
Required:

* Experience in application support
* Experience in working with ticketing systems
* Experience with Java
* Very good organization and communication skills
* Very good level of English
